## Before you start

- An answered call: the caller’s contact page is created on its own.

## Step by step

7 steps, about 2 min.

Screenshots show Callizy in French. Button names are given in English.

### 1. Find the contact (10 s)

In the menu, click **Contacts**, then type their name in the search.

![The Callizy “Contacts” page: a first name typed in the search leaves a single contact in the list, next to the “Tags”, “Status” and “Source” filters.](https://callizy.ca/images/apprendre/guides/contacts-notes-taches-1.webp)

### 2. Open their contact page (10 s)

Click their row: their contact page opens on the right, with their name already filled in, and three tabs: **Info**, **Tasks** and **Notes**.

### 3. Complete the contact page (1 min)

In **Tags**, add one, for example Kitchen, then Enter: it lets you filter your contacts. Choose their **Status**: Prospect, Lead, Client or Inactive.

### 4. Add a note (30 s)

**Notes** tab: write what you want to remember from the call, then Enter. The note keeps your name and the time, and the whole team can read it. During a call, the **Quick notes** field writes to the same place.

### 5. Create the follow-up task (20 s)

**Tasks** tab: type it in **New task**, for example “Send the quote”, then Enter. The number next to Tasks counts what is left to do.

### 6. Review everything in the conversation (10 s)

Click **Conversation**: the client’s thread opens in the Inbox, with the call and then your note, titled “Internal note”. Their contact page stays on the right.

### 7. Check off the task once done (5 s)

Once the follow-up is done, in the **Tasks** tab, check off the task.

## Video transcript

Contacts, notes and tasks. After every call. Here's the result: Daniel Côté's contact page, filled in. A note on what he wants, and the follow-up task, so nothing gets forgotten. All you need is an answered call: the caller's contact page creates itself. In the menu, “Contacts”. Type his name in the search: Daniel. Click his row: his contact page opens on the right. His name is already there. Fill in the rest. A tag: “Cuisine”, Enter. It lets you filter your contacts. And his status: “Lead”. “Notes” tab. Write what you remember from the call. Enter. The note keeps your name and the time, and the whole team can read it. During a call, the “Quick notes” field writes to the same place. “Tasks” tab. “New task...”: send the quote. Enter. The number next to Tasks counts what's left to do. Remember one rule. After an answered call, the contact page already exists. All you have to do is fill it in. To see everything: “Conversation”. Daniel's thread opens in the inbox: the call, then your note. And his contact page stays on the right. One last step, once the quote is sent: “Tasks” tab, and check it off. The path is complete. Every customer has a thread, a contact page and a follow-up. Callizy, the phone that answers when you can't.
