# Connect Google Contacts

Your Google contacts and your Callizy contacts, always in sync.

## What the integration does

Connect a Google account, a manager’s: its contacts arrive in Callizy, and the name shows when they call. Contacts created or edited in Callizy, and new callers, go to Google Contacts right away.

Google does not notify when a contact changes: Callizy checks every 30 minutes, or right away with “Sync now”.

## Before you start

- Be a manager on the Callizy account.
- A work Google account: its contacts will go into the team’s shared address book.
- Every plan, from Solo.

## Step by step

3 steps, about 2 min.

### 1. Open Callizy integrations (30 s)

In Callizy, open **Administration**, then **Settings** and **Integrations**. Click the **Google Contacts** card, then **Connect Google Contacts**.

### 2. Accept in Google Contacts (30 s)

The Google Contacts screen opens. Sign in with an admin account and accept. You come back to Callizy and see “Connected to …”. Check access to contacts on the Google screen.

### 3. That’s it (10 s)

One person connects, for the whole company. After that, every call from every team member is logged. The settings at the bottom of the panel can be changed at any time.

## Key points

- One Google account for the company: pick a work account.
- Callizy checks Google every 30 minutes, or right away with “Sync now”.
- Contacts created in Callizy go to Google right away.

## Settings

- **Import Google contacts**: Created or edited in Google, they arrive in Callizy. Deleted, they are archived. Checked every 30 minutes.
- **Send Callizy contacts to Google**: Created or edited in Callizy, they go to Google right away.
- **Create unknown callers**: A caller missing from Google becomes a Google contact.

## Not working?

### Google shows “Google hasn’t verified this app”

1. Click **Advanced**, then **Go to Callizy**.

### A contact edited in Google is not up to date

1. Callizy checks every 30 minutes: click **Sync now** so you do not have to wait.

### Personal contacts are in the address book

1. They come from the connected Google account: connect a work account instead.
