# Do not disturb, call forwarding and personal schedule

Stop calls when you're not available or forward them elsewhere (personal schedule: Team).

- Role: Everyone
- Duration: 4 min
- On: Web, Mac, iPhone, Android

- Open this screen in Callizy: https://app.callizy.ca/en/dashboard

## Before you start

- Your Callizy account.
- For a personal schedule: the Team plan.

## Step by step

7 steps, about 4 min.

Screenshots show Callizy in French. Button names are given in English.

### 1. Turn on Do not disturb (10 s)

At the bottom left, click your name, then the **Do not disturb** switch: the dot turns red. No call rings for you anymore, on any device. Click again to be **Available**.

Menu: Your name › Do not disturb

### 2. Or from your phone (10 s)

In the app’s settings, at the very top: **Do not disturb**. When it’s on, it says **Blocked calls** on iPhone, **Calls blocked** on Android. On Android, a Quick Settings tile does the same.

### 3. What happens to the call (10 s)

The call no longer rings for you and follows the planned path: your colleagues, the queue or voicemail. Do not disturb doesn’t turn off by itself: remember to turn it off.

### 4. Enter a forward number (30 s)

In **My Profile**, **Telephony preferences** section, **Forward number** field: your cell phone, for example, then **Save**. In the app: **Telephony**, **Call forwarding**, then **OK**.

Menu: Your name › My Profile › Telephony preferences

### 5. Know when forwarding rings (20 s)

It’s used when a flow sends the call to you alone, with the **Route to agent** block, and you don’t answer in Callizy. It then rings for the same length of time. It isn’t used when the whole team rings, during Do not disturb, or outside your hours.

### 6. Set your personal schedule (1 min)

Team plan. In **My Profile**, **My personal schedule**, click **Edit**. Turn on each working day and pick your hours; turned off, the day is **Closed**. Then **Save**. In the app: **My hours** on iPhone, **Hours** on Android.

### 7. Know what it changes (10 s)

You only ring during your hours, in the company’s time zone. No day turned on? You follow the company’s hours.

## Key points

- Do not disturb applies to your whole account, and it doesn’t turn off by itself.
- Forwarding only applies to a call sent to you alone.
- Your personal schedule decides when you ring.

## Settings

- **Notify me anyway**: On iPhone, in the app’s notifications, **During Do Not Disturb** section: when on, you still get text notifications during Do not disturb.

## Not working?

### Do not disturb is off, but nothing rings

1. It’s set in three places: the menu under your name, **My Profile** and the app. Check all three.
2. Turned off in the app? On the web, click your name: if **Do not disturb** is still on, turn it off there too.

### The schedule’s Edit button is grayed out

1. The “Included in Team” badge says it: the personal schedule needs the Team plan.

### Callizy shows “Save failed”

1. Check the **Forward number**: write it with + and the country code, for example +1 604 555 0123.

### Callizy shows “Schedule save failed”

1. The personal schedule needs the Team plan.
2. Try again in a moment.

### Forwarding never rings

1. It only works with a flow’s **Route to agent** block. When the whole team rings, it isn’t used: talk to your manager.

## Frequently asked questions

### A customer is waiting in the queue when I become available again?

Your phone rings right away, with the caller who has waited the longest.

### Can my colleagues see I’m on Do not disturb?

Yes: when they open your message thread, they read “Do not disturb”. See [Messages and calls between colleagues](https://callizy.ca/en/apprendre/entre-collegues).
