## Before you start

- Your Callizy account.
- A microphone to call back: the computer’s, a headset, or the app on your cell phone.

## Step by step

6 steps, about 3 min.

Screenshots show Callizy in French. Button names are given in English.

### 1. Open the Inbox (10 s)

In the menu, click **Inbox**, **Conversations** tab.

Menu: Phone › Inbox › Conversations

### 2. Show the missed ones (20 s)

At the end of the filters, click **⋯**, then **Missed**. What stays are the conversations whose last exchange is a missed call or a voicemail. Check **Missed** in that menu to keep it in the row.

### 3. Read before you call back (30 s)

Open the first conversation. A voicemail? Its transcript is right below: you already know what the customer wants.

### 4. Call back (1 min)

In the customer’s record, on the right, click **Call**. They see the company number. No answer? Text them right below the last message.

### 5. Move to the next one (10 s)

As soon as you call back or text, the conversation leaves **Missed**. Keep going until the list is empty.

### 6. On your cell phone (20 s)

In the iPhone app, **Home** tab, tap the **To call back** tile: it counts these conversations. In the Android app, **History** tab, **Missed** filter.

## Key points

- A conversation stays in **Missed** as long as its last exchange is a missed call or a voicemail.
- A call or a text from you takes it off the list.
- The customer sees the company number, not yours.

## Settings

- **Done (Team plan)**: In a team, **Done**, at the top of the conversation, takes it off the list. If the customer calls or texts again, it comes back. **Reopen** brings it back too.
- **Assign (Team plan)**: **Assign** hands the callback to a colleague. The **Mine** filter shows what is yours.

## Not working?

### The Missed filter isn’t in the row

1. It is in the **⋯** menu, at the end of the filters. Check it to pin it.

### A customer you called back is still on the list

1. They called back, or left a voicemail, after your call: the last exchange is a missed one again.
2. You called them from another line: their conversation on this line hasn’t changed.

### The call doesn’t go out

1. Allow the microphone in the browser: see [Make and receive a call](https://callizy.ca/en/apprendre/passer-et-recevoir-un-appel).

## Frequently asked questions

### Is a call answered by the AI agent a missed call?

No. The agent answered: the call is in the conversation with its summary. It doesn’t go into **Missed**.

### Where can I see every missed call, one by one?

**Calls** tab of the Inbox: your call log. See [Find a call: history, recording, AI summary](https://callizy.ca/en/apprendre/retrouver-un-appel).

### Can I avoid missing them?

Yes: the AI agent can take over when nobody answers. See [Stop missing calls after business hours](https://callizy.ca/en/apprendre/apres-les-heures).
