Will it create duplicates in Clio?

No. Callizy looks the number up in Clio before writing: the call lands on the existing record. A contact is created only when the number is unknown, and only if the setting is on.

When do the summary and recording arrive?

The call shows up as soon as it ends. The summary, transcript and recording follow within a minute. A call of a few seconds has no summary.

What does the call button open?

The Callizy web softphone, on the contact’s number, in a new tab. You need to be signed in to Callizy in that browser.

Is it included in my plan?

Yes, in every plan, at no extra cost.

Do the other lawyers see the “Call with Callizy” action?

Clio ties actions to the person who connects. For now, only that person sees them; the others call from Callizy.

Open Callizy integrations
In Callizy, Configuration menu, then Integrations. Click the Clio card, then Connect Clio.

Accept in Clio
The Clio screen opens. Sign in with an admin account and accept. You come back to Callizy and see “Connected to …”. First pick your account region: Canada (ca.app.clio.com), United States, Europe or Australia.

One person connects, for the whole company. After that, every call from every team member is logged. The settings at the bottom of the panel can be changed at any time.

Turn on “One time entry per call”
In the Callizy Clio panel. Every answered call tied to an open matter creates a time entry for its duration, linked to the communication.
