- Your prospects in a CSV file, with at least one phone column.
Step by step
7 steps, about 5 min- 1
The first time
Activate the Power Dialer
1 minIn Administration, under Call, click Power Dialer. Search numbers by area code, for example 416, check them, then Activate Power Dialer. These are the numbers your prospects will see. Take at least two for rotation.

Open this screen in Callizy - 2
For each campaign
Name the campaign and write the script
1 minCampaigns tab, click New campaign. General step: the Campaign name, a Description and the Call script. In the script, [nom], [prenom], [entreprise], [poste] and [telephone] are replaced with the prospect’s details: last name, first name, company, job title and phone.
- 3
Set the numbers
1 minSettings step: check the campaign’s Outbound numbers. Automatic rotation alternates between them. Local presence shows the prospect one of your numbers with their area code. Sticky number per contact keeps the same number from one call to the next. Daily cap per number limits each number’s calls, 100 to start.
- 4
Check the dispositions
20 sFurther down, Dispositions: the results the agent picks after each call, such as interested, call back or wrong number. A new campaign uses the company’s; once it is created, you can give it its own list.
- 5
Assign the agents
20 sAgents step: under Assign agents, check the people who will call. Only they see the campaign.
- 6
Import the prospects
1 minProspects step: drop your CSV file. Columns: phone, required, then first_name, last_name, company, position and email. Download a template gives a sample with French headers, which work too. The preview counts the prospects to call, the rows skipped and the duplicates. Click Create campaign.
- 7
Then
Follow your campaigns
20 sThe list shows each campaign’s Status, Progress, Agents and Interested. The row’s menu: Edit, Pause, Duplicate or Delete.
Key points
- Only the assigned agents see the campaign.
- The number shown is decided at dial time: pinned number, then the contact’s usual number, local presence, then rotation.
- Deleting a campaign also deletes its prospects.
- Before calling, respect the permitted hours and the do not call list: see Power Dialer and the National DNCL.
Settings
You can change them at any time, without reconnecting anything.
- Company default dispositions
- Under Dispositions, Edit company defaults → opens them. They apply to every campaign without its own list. Each has a name and a category: positive, negative, callback, neutral, voicemail or disqualified. The category sets the color, icon and behavior; a callback disposition asks the agent for a date. The default names are in French: rename them here if your team works in English.
- A list for one campaign
- Open the campaign with Edit, Settings step, and turn on Custom dispositions: add, rename, move up, move down or delete. Reset to defaults goes back to the company’s list.
- Buy more numbers
- Numbers tab, Buy a number: By area code or Toll-free, in Canada or the United States.
Not working?
Callizy shows “No Power Dialer number available. Purchase some first.”
- Numbers tab, click Buy a number.
Callizy shows “No phone column detected. Use the template ("phone" column).”
- Name the column phone, telephone or numero, then choose the file again.
Callizy shows “Your trial is limited to 1 number. Activate your subscription to buy more.”
- During the trial, check a single number.
- Or start the subscription: see Manage your subscription and invoices.
Callizy shows “Add a card to get a number. You will not be charged during your trial.”
- Add a card in Settings › Billing, then try again.
Callizy shows “This feature is included from the Business plan.”
- The Power Dialer is part of the Business plan.
